Preparation for the Olympiad Participants

A lot of the participants have asked us "what needs to be prepared when participate in this competition?" . so why not we just made a checklist of the preparations

  1. Practice
    • surely, you need to have enough knowledge and skills to be the finalists and win this competition. in this competition, basically participants will be tested on their knowledge and skills. Just read basic knowledge of astronomy ( solar system bodies,  sky observation during days and nights, stars, galaxy, nebula etc. ) . also, do some practice by answering some previous problems. Here we have some of the links to the international-level astronomy olympiad. if you have problems and need help, you can refer to our facebook; Kelab Astronomy USM .

  2. Be Prepared
    • Make sure you have enough preparation with the stuff you need to use during the competition. Pens, Pencils, Erasers, ruler and calculator is a must.
    • make sure you know where to sign  in on the day of competition. for the elimination round, the competition will be held at Dewan Kuliah E, USM main campus. here are the map to get to the location.
those are all the things you need to prepare. we wish you all the best.
